We are currently looking for a Business Development Assistant to join our Sarajevo office. This role involves supporting the preparation of proposals and expressions of interest, conducting targeted research on various topics, and managing documentation and contractual requirements related to client projects.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitor tender platforms, track relevant developments in the market, and alert the professional team to potential calls and tenders. The decision to pursue these opportunities is made by the management and professional team, with your support in ensuring timely and accurate information.
- Support the preparation of high-quality proposals together with the professional team, including background research, document coordination, and drafting of sections as needed. The role requires the ability to understand and connect information across various fields and sources.
- Conduct focused desk research on economic, social, regulatory, and sector-specific topics to support business development activities.
- Coordinate and support internal risk management procedures related to tender applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and protocols.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing contractual documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with tender requirements and internal standards.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including opportunity tracking, proposal submissions, and contractual documentation.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Languages, Law, or a related field. Candidates with a degree in English Language and Literature or Bosnian Language and Literature may be given preference, due to the nature of the role.
- Excellent writing and research skills, with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources into clear, well-structured texts.
- Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver high-quality outputs within set deadlines.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the flexibility to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with collaborative platforms is an asset.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams..
