Accounting Team Lead (m/f)

💼 About the Role:

We are looking for an Accounting Team Lead who can thrive at the intersection of technical execution and team management. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting practices and team management. In this role, you will oversee the work and progress of junior team members, be on the forefront of financial operations and quality control, ensure and lead audit processes for complex clients. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our financial strategies and the growth of the company.

🌟Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards, monitor cash flow, manage and perform bank and account reconciliations
• Coordinate the schedule for Month-End Close management to ensure all sub-ledgers (AP, AR, Payroll) are closed within deadlines
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors
• Work independently on client projects, showcasing strong initiative and responsibility
• Conduct financial reporting and analysis, as well as ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Take active engagement in budgeting and forecasting
• Delegate workload to team members to assure it is distributed in accordance to task complexity and team member experience
• Mentor junior team members on complex accounting procedures
• Participate in team performance review and conduct technical interviews when hiring new team members

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finances, Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong command of financial reporting, accounting principles, and corporate finance
• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and/or Google Suite
• Professional or full working proficiency in English

✍️ Beneficial to the Role:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Prior familiarity with ERP softwares/ organizational softwares in general
• Flexibility in working hours for meetings with international clients
