💼 About the role:

As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and supporting senior accountants with various tasks. This is an entry-level position that requires attention to detail and a passion for learning. No prior experience is necessary, but any relevant experience or internships will be considered a plus.

🌟Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies
• Record daily financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll entries
• Help in preparing financial statements and reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Support in processing accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and track company expenses
• Assist senior accountants in preparing for audits and tax filings
• Help with monthly and yearly closings
• Participate in ongoing financial education and training opportunities 

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or final-year student)
• No previous experience required, but internships or relevant experience in accounting is a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles- GAAP is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt
