Junior Associate - ESG & GHG Accounting (m/f)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to support ESG and greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and sustainability reporting engagements. The role focuses on assisting with emissions calculations, environmental data analysis, and preparation of inputs for sustainability disclosures.

This position is ideal for early-career professionals who want to build a solid foundation in ESG, climate metrics, and sustainability reporting while working on real client projects across different sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Support preparation of GHG inventories (Scope 1, 2 and selected Scope 3) in line with the GHG Protocol
• Assist with carbon footprint calculations, emissions data collection and basic analysis
• Provide analytical and data support for sustainability reporting (e.g. CBAM, GRI, SBTi, TCFD, CDP)
• Help organize, validate and maintain environmental and ESG data for reporting purposes
• Contribute to internal analyses, working papers and client deliverables under guidance of senior team members
• Continuously build knowledge of ESG standards, regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Economics, Data Science, or a related field

Experience:

• Up to 1 year of relevant experience (including internships, student projects or entry-level roles) in sustainability, environmental data analysis, ESG reporting or similar fields

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Basic familiarity with GHG Protocol and ESG reporting concepts
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a team-based environment

Preferred:

• Exposure to carbon accounting tools or sustainability reporting
• Basic knowledge of ISO 14064 or similar standards
