QSI International School of Sarajevo is currently filling a position for a full-time

ART TEACHER

for elementary and secondary students beginning in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Successful applicants will:

• Demonstrate a proficient command of the English language suitable for professional engagement in an educational setting, conducting programs in English.
• Have classroom management skills and experience teaching different age levels.
• Possess the capability to instruct visual arts to elementary, middle school, and secondary students,
• Possess analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of art history,
  themes, and media, and the ability to impart art techniques to students across different age groups. The demands of the role may vary in complexity and depth between elementary and secondary art education.
• Be capable of designing, organizing, and delivering high-quality lessons aligning with QSI's Curriculum and Mastery Learning educational philosophy.
• Help support the school exhibitions, concerts, drama productions and other school events.
• Exhibit proficiency in utilizing and learning technology (Office 365 platform, Canva, and Adobe Suite).
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in the education field.
• Be willing to positively and cooperatively take on responsibilities beyond the classroom in support of extra-curricular and school-wide initiatives, considering them to be an essential part of the success of an international school.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to cultivate
  positive relationships with colleagues and students.
• Be able to show a background check indicating no criminal proceedings and proof that no criminal offense or violation has been committed upon being chosen for the opening position.
• Applicants will need to submit two references from their previous employers.
