IT Help Desk Assistant

Job description:

• Attend to users IT needs in order for them to meet their work functions, including issues with user. accounts, printers, PC's, mobile phones, business applications, etc.;
• Provide first level support for user issues;
• Walk users through problem solving process;
• Follow up with users, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution;
• Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure of tickets;
• Properly escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support;
• Preserve and grow your knowledge of help desk procedures, products and services;
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding process;
• Management of end user equipment (notebooks, mobile phones etc.).

Position requirements:

• Minimum education: High school diploma with appropriate IT certificates or University Degree (or final year of study) in: Information Technology, Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or similar;
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus;
• Technical skills in administration of Windows OS Workstations and Servers; Local networking and printing;  Administration of IP telephony and Mobile devices; Active Directory User and Computers;
• Fluent English;
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking;
• The highest level of personal integrity.
