QSI International School of Sarajevo is currently filling one temporary position for a full-time

MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHING ASSISTANT (m/f)

We are looking for a Middle School Teacher Assistant to join our team of educators.

You will be responsible for working one-on-one and with a group of students in classroom settings. You will assist in accommodating the student’s needs in mastering the QSI curriculum in class subjects (e.g., Math, Writing, P.E., etc.). You will work with the subject teachers, helping
deliver lessons to the students in class.

Successful applicants will:

• Possess knowledge of English sufficient to work professionally in an educational institution that conducts academic programs in the English language.
• Possess proven experience as an educator or relevant role.
• Possessing a degree in educational sciences is preferred.
• Have a working experience with middle school/secondary-aged students
• Have a strong ability to communicate and build positive relationships with colleagues and students, showing excellent interpersonal and communication skills, patience, and resourcefulness.
• Be willing to take on responsibilities positively and cooperatively beyond the classroom in support of extra-curricular and school-wide initiatives, considering them to be an essential part of the success of an international school.
• Be able to show a background check indicating no criminal proceedings and proof that no criminal offense or violation has been committed upon being chosen for the opening position.
