Network & Security Engineer (m/f)

Network Engineer – Hybrid & Cloud Infrastructure 

Full Remote | Full-Time | €1300–1800 net 

🎯 Your Mission 

You strengthen and secure our hybrid network landscape. 

From Azure to OPNsense, from SD-WAN to Zero Trust — you actively shape our infrastructure while growing toward a Network Security Specialist role. 

This is not a ticket-only position. This is about ownership, architecture, and evolution.  

🔧 What You’ll Do 

🌐 Network & Cloud 

• Provide 2nd-level support for complex network issues 
• Design and operate hybrid cloud architectures (Azure & on-prem) 
• Build and optimize IPSec and site-to-site connections 

🔐 Security & Zero Trust 

• Contribute to our Zero Trust (ZTNA / SSE) strategy 
• Manage firewalls and VPN solutions (OPNsense, Meraki) 
• Monitor, improve, and harden network security posture 

💡 Innovation & Open Source 

• Evaluate modern technologies — including open-source tools 
• Document architectures and provide technical guidance 
• Actively contribute to infrastructure roadmap decisions  

🧠 What You Bring 

You don’t need to tick every box — but you should have solid experience in several of these areas: 

• Azure Networking (VNet, NSG, VPN / ExpressRoute) 
• Cisco Meraki (SD-WAN, MX, MR) 
• OPNsense or comparable firewalls 
• IPSec, VPN, network segmentation 
• Ideally: Cloudflare / SSE / Zero Trust 

Nice to have: 

• Open-source mindset (WireGuard, pfSense, Wazuh, etc.) 
• Comfort working with Linux & CLI
