We are expanding our capacity and are looking for a high-caliber Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex Solar PV infrastructure projects with international stakeholders, strict delivery standards, and measurable outcomes.
This is a senior leadership role requiring proven project delivery expertise, strong technical understanding of solar infrastructure, and excellent stakeholder management.
Role Overview
As Senior Infrastructure Project Manager (Solar PV), you will be accountable for the full lifecycle delivery of solar infrastructure projects — from planning and procurement through execution, commissioning, and handover.
You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, and external partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Solar PV infrastructure projects (multi-vendor / multi-
team environments); - Define project scope, work breakdown structure (WBS), milestones, budgets, and
delivery plans; - Manage EPC-related execution activities (engineering coordination, procurement
follow-up, construction supervision); - Drive vendor/contractor performance and enforce quality standards (vendor
management); - Own project governance: reporting, steering meetings, escalation handling, and
decision tracking; - Manage risk, change control, dependencies, and critical path execution;
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, documentation requirements, and
HSE rules; - Coordinate commissioning activities, testing, punch lists, and final acceptance;
- Deliver project documentation and handover packages (as-built, SLDs, reports,
sign-offs).
Technical Scope (Solar PV Infrastructure)
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on understanding and can manage technical
discussions related to:
- PV system architecture: panels/modules, strings, DC/AC configurationsl;
- Inverters (string/central), monitoring, performance analysis, troubleshooting;
- DC infrastructure: combiner boxes, DC cables/connectors, protections,
fuses/SPDs; - AC infrastructure: switchboards, protection systems, grounding/earthing;
- Transformers, substations, MV/HV interconnection (where applicable);
- SCADA / monitoring systems, data loggers, communication (RS485 / Ethernet);
- Documentation: SLDs, layouts, as-built documentation, commissioning protocols;
- Safety standards: surge protection, grounding, electrical safety, HSE requirements.
Mandatory Requirements:
- PMP certification (Project Management Professional) — mandatory;
- Strong English proficiency — mandatory;
- TOEFL iBT 100+ is mandatory;
- However, the certificate is NOT required at the time of application;
- Selected candidates must be able to pass TOEFL iBT (100+) and provide proof upon
request; - Minimum 7+ years of proven experience delivering infrastructure projects;
- Strong track record of managing complex delivery (multiple contractors, suppliers,
and stakeholders); - Excellent reporting and documentation discipline (weekly/monthly reporting);
- Advanced proficiency with PM tools (MS Project / Jira / Asana / Monday / Wrike);
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel required).
Preferred / Strong Advantage:
- ECP project deliery background (Engineering / Procurement / Construction);
- Experience with solar equipment vendors (modules, inverters, mounting structures,
cables); - Experience with commissioning and operational handover;
- Contract/change management experience (claims, variations, change orders);
- Experience working with international stakeholders and remote technical teams.
