Research Assistant (m/f)

Seeking a highly organized, proactive and extremely detail-oriented Research Assistant that will provide essential support mainly in online product research tasks for our business. You need to be a self-starter, attentive to detail and able to communicate in basic English fluently. This is a remote position requiring quick and effective problem-solving, extensive online research, and the ability to provide clear and concise answers within a short timeframe.

Job Description:

• Product research including contacting various manufacturers and distributors located in the United States.
• Communicating with various US based manufacturers and suppliers.
• Following up with suppliers/clients/customers regarding shipment status of current orders.
• Shipment scheduling and purchase order management, if needed.
• Compile and track data in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Various other ad hoc administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and seek minimal guidance.
• Quick turnaround required.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Has to be able to work US Eastern Time 8AM – 5PM.
• Has to be accessible during work hours at all times via phone, e-mail, or Teams.
• This job requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, customer service skills.
• You need to be able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic written and spoken English sufficient for simple e-mail correspondence and conversation.
• Basic Excel, Word and Adobe skillset required.
