RESPONSIBILITIES

Implement automation processes in RCB production, ensuring compliance with best
practices and high-quality electrical and PLC installation standards.
Design and implement automation systems and equipment for Recovered Carbon Black
production facilities.
Test, apply and monitor implemented systems, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
Interpret and use electrical design and connection diagrams.
Review and adapt project documentation (P&IDs, design bases, schedules, tender
documents, equipment specifications).
Participate in project and maintenance activities within multidisciplinary teams (electrical,
mechanical, civil).
Design, specify, program and commission control systems (PLC/SCADA)
Support the Engineering in planning, development and procurement of new equipment.
Monitor process performance and contribute to continuous automation improvement.
Provide technical support during testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical and automation processes.
Develop and implement safety procedures for work involving hazardous chemicals and
explosive areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s or Bachelor’ Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
Relevant experience in process automation, preferably in the process industry (chemical,
carbon, minerals)
Knowledge of electrical installation and PLC programming (S7 and WinCC is an advantage)
Responsible, cost-conscious, resilient, systematic and analytical team player with drive and
hands-on initiative
Basic IT skills: MS Windows/Office (PC, programing, scripts, networking – advantage)
Proficiency in English (written & spoken)
