ICT System Officer / Assistant (f/m)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

OSB IT Security d.o.o. is looking for an ICT System Officer / Assistant with a background in Information Systems or Technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administration/Support

• Lead or support the planning, development, and implementation of ICT systems and applications, ensuring alignment with company standards
• Maintain system documentation, manage version control, and coordinate deployments and recovery processes
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network infrastructure, and key systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Office 365, databases, firewalls, etc.)
• Provide technical support, assign tasks within the team, and offer training and guidance to junior staff
• Analyze and optimize network performance, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with policies and standards
• Serve as an escalation point for complex issues and oversee quality assurance to ensure user satisfaction ICT Security/DRBC
• Assist in coordinating the implementation and regular testing of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity (DRBC) plans, as well as supervise teams involved in DRBC activities
• Design, implement, and maintain security systems including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, malware protection, VPNs, encryption, content filtering, and access controls, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• Advanced experience with MS Office 365 Applications
• Advanced Firewall administration end experience in GitHub and Jira
  administration
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently with minimum supervision and perform as part of a team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A university degree in Information Systems, Technology, or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in planning and installing complex information systems
• Alternatively, a high school diploma with additional certifications or training in ICT, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, may be considered in place of a degree
• Industry certifications and specialized training are desirable
• Fluency in spoken and written English is required; proficiency in German is a strong advantage

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel is necessary but no extensive stay away from home.
