Remote Operations Manager (m/f)

We're looking for a proactive Operations Manager with strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude. The Operations Manager is a key member of Bastion Logistics' management team, responsible for the smooth running of operations and managing a team of drivers.

Specific responsibilities and tasks

Driver Management and Support

• Support drivers with departures and ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
• Communicate and solve issues with drivers and, report to depot management and analyse issues on routes. Assess and arrange support to any route that is at risk.
• Arrange and deliver appropriate training (incl. doorstepping/ health & safety).
• Onboarding training and induction for new drivers.

Administration:

• Log driver working hours and update payment sheet daily.
• Attend meetings with clients and depot staff.
• Keep track of distributed and returned uniforms & equipment.
• Ensure drivers sign onboarding paperwork prior to deployment.
• Arrange and roster driver for shifts.
• Report and assist with all incidents and traffic accidents.
• Conduct other tasks as required.
