YOUR PROFILE

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Embedded Systems Engineering, Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable technical field

• Experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the field of embedded systems

• High analytical skills, systematic and methodical

• Programming skills e.g. in C or C++

• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards, and with certification processes and bodies is a plus

• Experience with fieldbus protocols and IoT technologies would be beneficial

• Languages: English is required, German is desirable

• Communicative, creative, flexible and strong team spirit

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES

• Taking ownership of the design and implementation of the security architecture and supporting the development of embedded systems to ensure their security, robustness, and resilience throughout their lifecycle

• Conducting threat modelling and cybersecurity risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and define appropriate mitigation measures based on standards such as IEC 62443

• Contributing to the definition of cybersecurity requirements and specifications and implementing hardened software for embedded systems

• Assessing software functionality, robustness, and resilience by planning and conducting comprehensive security tests

• Coordinating and supporting certification activities with external testing and certification bodies, acting as the central point of contact throughout the assessment process

• Collaborating with systems engineers, software and hardware developers, test engineers, and functional safety specialists
