YOUR PROFILE

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a comparable technical field

• Proven professional experience in hardware/electronics development for complex embedded systems

• Strong knowledge of circuit design, component selection and dimensioning, and PCB development

• Experience with tools for schematic design, PCB layout, and electronic circuit/component simulation

• Solid understanding of EMC-compliant PCB design and robust electronics development

• Experience working in standards-driven development environments

• Familiarity with hardware verification, testing, and cooperation with test laboratories and/or certification bodies

• Ability to structure complex technical topics, make sound engineering decisions, and take ownership within a project

• Confidence to guide other engineers technically while remaining hands-on

• Ability to communicate technical decisions and trade-offs clearly within multidisciplinary project teams

• Languages: English is required, German is desirable

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze system and customer requirements and translate them into hardware specifications

• Develop implementation concepts and define hardware architectures for robust and reliable electronic systems

• Take technical ownership of hardware development within projects, coordinate hardware activities, and provide technical guidance to other engineers

• Design and review electronic circuits, including component selection and dimensioning, schematic design, and PCB layout

• Plan hardware and system verification and evaluate electronics for functionality, reliability, and robustness

• Ensure EMC requirements and applicable technical standards are considered throughout development

• Cooperate with external test laboratories and certification bodies where required

• Work closely with embedded software, test, mechanical, and functional safety engineers

• Support the transition from development to series production

• Provide technical input and effort estimates for project planning

• Share expertise and support the technical development of less experienced engineers
