In short, Area Manager (m/f) will manage day-to-day activities of our second-hand shops, and will plan the sales and marketing strategy to reach the defined goals.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing the network of second-hand clothing shops
- Day to day management of the employees in the shops
- Organizing and leading sales and marketing procedures
- Planning and implementing shop merchandising, layout and customer traffic flow so as to maximize sales, customer satisfaction, appearance, image and ergonomics for customers
- Developing sales strategies
- Planning, forecasting, and reporting on the shops performance
- Planning and managing internal communications and awareness of corporate direction, mission, aims and activities
- Monitor measure and report on organizational development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
- Recruit and train new employees
- Opening of the new shops
- Supervises accounting staff in day-to-day management of the accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, quarterly and annual statements and development of formats and schedules
- Liaise with external agencies and authorities as necessary (advertising, recruitment, training etc.)
PROFESSIONAL AND GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years in sales leadership role in retail in textile industry
- Good knowledge of modern fashion essentials
- Fluency in English (B2 minimum)
- Driving license
- Store opening experience is preferable, but not mandatory
