Job Overview:

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in expanding our client base by identifying and qualifying potential business opportunities. This role involves proactively reaching out to prospects, conducting initial outreach, and setting up meetings with decision-makers. We are looking for someone who is resilient, persuasive and has a strong understanding of software development and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct targeted email outreach to identify potential leads and drive business growth.
  • Qualify leads based on their fit with our services and set up initial meetings.
  • Maintain and update CRM with accurate information on leads and interactions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including the number of qualified leads and lead qualification rates.
  • Continuously improve your approach based on data-driven insights and feedback from sales meetings.

Desired Competencies:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
  • Proven experience in cold outreach and some networking skills.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and technology.
  • High levels of organization and time management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably within the software development or tech industry.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and general familiarity with sales and marketing software.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team.
  • Willingness to work remotely with the flexibility to attend in-office meetings once a week.
