We are looking for a passionate mid-level Engineer to join our office located in Sarajevo (B&H). This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to work as part of a team with career advancement possibilities.

The Successful Applicant will have:

• Tertiary qualification (minimum B.Eng.) in mechanical engineering
• 3-5 years of industry experience in high precision manufacturing, welded structures, hydraulic systems, or similar mechanical engineering work
• At least six months of manufacturing experience with Solidworks, preferably three years or more
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experienced with ERP systems (Microsoft dynamics 365 business central)
• The ability to create, read and interpret drawings
• Proactive approach and ability to work autonomously
• Knowledge of materials, hydraulic systems, and structural optimization is a plus
• Great attention to detail and a passion for excellence are essential
• Self-motivation displays integrity and reliability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the engineering team in designing mechanical and structural equipment to meet customer specification
• Working with stakeholders and engineering team to develop a solution through conceptual and detailed engineering design using 3D & 2D software (including SolidWorks, DraftSight, 3dexperience, etc.)
• Production of structural and mechanical drawings including fabrication shop detailing, design and drafting services, and laser cutting
• Designing and analyzing industrial equipment specifically in lifting
• Conducting calculations in structural analysis for concept designs (FEA)
• Produce hydraulic diagrams, installation drawings, and dimensional sketches
• Work within project deadlines and budgets
• Provide timely feedback to management on project progress, including reporting to the senior mechanical designer
• Provide support and technical assistance to customers/fabricators on design issues or queries. Including updating and modifying existing designs and/or drawings if required.

Demonstrated strong knowledge and competency in the following areas:

• Bill of Materials and ERP systems
• SolidWorks
• Microsoft dynamics 365
• Engineering Change Control processes
• Familiarity with Engineering Drawing file management
• Inquisitive, experimental, and creative. Detail-oriented, open-minded, and willing to learn.
